The Movers and Shakers of the JCC – a group of fantastic 4th and 5th Graders – have invited Be Heard! to be part of their Chugim (after-school program) until they break for the summer! Don’t miss this sweet opportunity where you and the kids will get to work together!

May 7th-June 4th (ends with a Fair on June 11th)
At the Live Oak Park Recreation Center: 1301 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley CA
Chugim Fair: Tuesday, June 11th, 5-7pm in the JCC Auditorium, 1414 Walnut Street, Berkeley CA. Food (pizza, cheeseboard baked goodies, etc.) and admission are free!
Cost: $25 to drop in; $115 for the whole series.* (To support the program, please consider paying the full tuition. If you need a scholarship in order to attend, please don’t hesitate to ask!)
We will start with May 7th as a pilot, leaving time afterward for questions, feedback and ideas with the kids. There will be snacks, too! From there, provided cohesion is good, we will continue the group class until June 4th (after which the Movers and Shakers break for summer).
This will be a great opportunity for everyone, and you and the kids can collaboratively think of ways to practice voice and movement in community. Perhaps we’ll even prepare a skit for the fair on June 11th!
*If for some reason we do not continue with the whole program but you have paid for the full package, you will be credited or refunded everything after the initial $25.
